Tek-COM IR704B Home Intercom System
The Tek-COM® IR704B system
is a versatile, four-wire intercom system that can be used in residential,
business, and warehouse applications or anywhere that room-to room and door
answering communications are desired. Each Tek-COM® IR704B system has
a total capacity of twenty stations, and includes features such as talk
switches, door answering, hands-free reply, room monitoring, and individual
volume controls. The amplifier’s voice and chime volumes are individually
adjustable. Up to ten stations can be fully on at one time. Calls are placed
from inside stations by pressing the INSIDE talk button. The call is then
heard at all inside stations that are turned on and not in the monitor mode.
The button is released to listen for a reply. Replies are made from inside
stations by pushing the INSIDE talk button. To place a call from an outside
station, simply push the button to sound a chime. The tone will be heard
at all inside stations that are on and not being monitored. The door is
answered by pressing the OUTSIDE button at any inside station, at which
time the reply from the door can be heard without external controls due
to the automatic hands-free reply circuitry.
