Vandal-Resistant Apartment Entry Systems - CM402 Series Stainless Steel Panel

CM402 Stainless Steel Vandal-Resistant Entrance Panels are rugged, attractive panels for use indoors and outdoors. They are made of heavy 16-gauge high-carbon stainless steel, for vandal resistant applications. CM402 panels are custom made to customer’s exact size and layout specifications (maximum panel size is 18"H × 24"W). Panels are available in three flush mount edges (flat, slight bevel,or ½" folded—please specify) and a surface mount edge (1½" folded—add suffix “S” to part number). Other available options are built-in or separate stainless steel directory (add suffix “D”), name holder directory option (add suffix “N”), built-in postal release switch (PO402I), built-in CCD camera (CM402CAM), and a variety of microphone and handset options.

CM402 panels feature metal push button plungers, engraved apartment markings and engraved building name or logo and/or company name or logo (where space allows). The use of Torx button pin in head screws makes directory or panel tampering nearly impossible without the use of the included special Torx tool bits.

installation/removal (size TT15) and
directory name insertion (size TT25).

ARCHITECTS’ AND ENGINEERS’ SPECIFICATION
The entry panel shall be TekTone®’s CM402 series, or approved equal. The panel shall be flush or surface mount type and shall include the proper speaker components to match the apartment intercom stations. The panel shall have integral and separate directory options if a directory is required. Where supplied, the directory unit shall be made of heavy-gauge brushed stainless steel and include a name strip holder covered by a protective sheet of clear polycarbonate.

The directory shall be panel mounted, and shall require the use of button pin in head Torx screwdriver tools. The entry panel shall include a size TT25 Torx tool bit for directory insertion (if applicable) and a size TT15 Torx tool bit for panel installation/maintenance. The panels shall have bright nickel push button plungers, engraved apartment markings, and perforated aluminum material for speaker component protection. The panel shall be made of a single sheet of 16-gauge high-carbon stainless steel.
