RS485 Communicator Card

RS485 Communicator Card For 8000 Remote Access Codes. For Use With Dial Code and Icon Series.

The RS485 feature gives the user the ability to add an additional 31 remote security devices to their system. The interface allows these devices (card readers, keypads, radio receivers, etc.) to be installed in series up to 4000 feet away from the processor. By inserting the RS485 activation card (available in 4k, 8k, or 16k sizes), the internal RS485 board is activated and ready to use.

Gate operator installations should be completed by a qualified installer only. B.J. Esberner and Associates, Inc. assumes no liability if product is installed incorrectly. Please see owners / installation manual for further details.
